Sarah Shahi is an American actress best known as the actress who starred in the TV show "Life". Shahi is a child of immigrants, raised by an Iranian father who had her Spanish mother living in Los Angeles, has gained of her diverse background. Since a young age, Shahi dreamt of becoming an actress. Her first modeling experience began when she was barely eight and quickly took the next step. She took part in lots of drama in her school, and later during college. Sarah started her film and TV career at a low level. Sarah was in various roles, including guest appearances on television shows and in movies. Then, she was offered her first major role on an American television sitcom. But, her popularity is not just restricted to her acting skills. Shahi is among the most popular actresses in the business. Shahi was ranked as 90th on Maxim's Hot 100 2005. Her ranking then climbed to number 66 in 2006. She then climbed to 36th in 2012. The cover was featured on the magazine's "TV's most beautiful Girls Issue', which was published in November 2012's issue. It was also reported that she ranked five on AfterEllen.com top list of 2007. Sarah Shahi, aside from her acting career, is also a keen sports fan and was a NFL cheerleader prior before picking up the camera. She holds a brown belt in Karate.
