American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her acting career as a supporting actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson on the series of FX Dirt. She also played the role of a supporting character on the short-lived FX series The Ex List. In the very first season, she was in the role of Moira O'Hara as a teenage Moira and, in the second season, she was Kaylee. She played Jessie Anderson's character on the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie played her character in the NBC show This Is Us. She voiced a variety of characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019she has been appearing in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 when her mother and her relocated to California [1The couple lived there for a year before finally setting up in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to be interested in singing, acting and photography at the age of 13. Breckenridge returned to Los Angeles with the help of her mother when she was 15.
